Website Launch.

IT’S TIME!

Congratulations! You’re almost there. The website launch phase is the final stage of our website design process, and it’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for.

Our launch checklist:

During this stage, we’ll work with your team to collect the content that we’ll use to populate your new website. We’ll help strategize what kind of content and sections would be best to include on each page, then we’ll collaborate with you to nail down the exact copy and collect any images or videos that we can use.

Are there any sections or elements that you would like redesigned?

Does any copy need to be rewritten?

Are there any pieces of information missing that you would like to include?

Did you catch any mistakes or errors on the site?

What we’ll need from you:

In order to bring your new website to life, we’ll need two things from you.

1) Access to your website domain name
Your website domain is the URL used to access your website on the internet (ex. www.domain.com). If you haven’t already, you can purchase your domain name through a domain name company such as GoDaddy or Namecheap.

Once you’ve purchased a domain name, please add us as an admin on the account so that we can attach this domain name to your new website. If using GoDaddy, click here for instructions on how to add someone as an admin.

2) Website hosting
A website host, or website hosting service provider, allows your website to be live on the internet. In a nutshell, every website needs to “rent space” on a server in order to be live on the internet. Your website host is where your website files, images, code, etc. are stored.

If you’re interested in having our team host and maintain your website in the future, you may consider one of our Website Management plans. These plans include website hosting, as well as a variety of other benefits to keep your website maintained.

Alternatively, you can purchase a website hosting plan on your own. If you decide to go this route, please add as an admin on the account for the website launch.

Launch Day

Once we have the website domain name and hosting figured out, we’re ready to launch! We will launch the new site at the day and time requested by you.

Post-Launch

After we’ve launched your website, we’ll do a post-launch review. This is to make sure that everything is working as it should be.

We’ll add your team as admins on the website, as well as provide you with a ‘Website Instructions’ page which will provide you with written and video tutorials that explain how to manage your website.

We include a two-week grace period after launching new websites so if you catch typos or errors that we may have missed, we’ll fix them free of charge.
