Preliminary Design.
- Project Progress 40%
What is the Preliminary Design?
Once we complete the Project Kickoff meeting, we’ll get started on building the Preliminary Website Design! The Preliminary Design is a single home page mockup that will give you an idea of the look and feel of your new website.
You’ll be able to see the font and color choices, the navigational menu structure, and the overall website style. Once the preliminary design is ready, we’ll send it over for you to review and provide feedback.
During the Preliminary Design phase, we’ll decide..
This Preliminary Design is just a jumping off point. We’ll be using stock images and placeholder text, so for right now we’re really just trying to nail down the overall style and structure of the website. This includes:
Color palette and typography to be used throughout the website
Navigation menu structure
Structure and layout of the homepage
The overall style and look of the website
At this stage, we will not decide..
Copy and images
The current design is using placeholder images and copy. The final images and copy will be incorporated in the next stage.
The responsiveness of the website
We will optimize the site for mobile + tablet viewing in the next stage
How to submit feedback:
When the design is ready, you’ll receive an email from us with a link to the Preliminary Design document. This document includes the URL to view your Preliminary Design as well as a page to provide feedback. Please provide your feedback directly to the feedback section of the Preliminary Design document (rather than sending via email).
Next steps:
Please review the Preliminary Design and provide feedback on the Preliminary Design document sent via email.
To keep the project on track, we ask that you submit your feedback with 3 business days.
As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns!
